FreeGCP's curriculum is built to the ICH E6(R3) standard, and FreeGCP's GCP training is listed on the TransCelerate BioPharma GCP Mutual Recognition website because it meets TransCelerate's Minimum Criteria for ICH GCP training. Participating sponsors mutually recognize training that meets those criteria, so your team's GCP certificates can serve as evidence of GCP training across those companies without retraining. Final acceptance always rests with each sponsor's and institution's own SOPs, so confirm with yours. Every certificate is publicly verifiable at freegcp.com/verify, and your console exports document the underlying records following ALCOA+ principles.

We already use CITI Program — can we switch mid-study?

Yes — most teams switch at the recertification boundary rather than all at once. New hires and upcoming recertifications start on FreeGCP while existing certificates run out their validity, and your training-matrix export gives QA one current view across the transition. If a sponsor's SOP names a specific provider for a given study, keep that study where it is and run both in parallel — there's no lock-in either way.

What counts as a seat?

A seat is capacity, not a named license. Buy the number you need now and fill seats as people join — active members and pending invitations each hold one. Removing a member (or revoking an invitation) frees the seat immediately for a replacement at no extra cost, and you can add seats anytime, prorated for the remainder of your term.

How is a team plan different from individual accounts?

Members keep their personal accounts and records if they leave.

Can we add or remove seats later?

Yes. Seat additions happen in your organization console — Roster → Add seats. New seats are prorated instantly for the remainder of your annual term, and you'll see the exact amount before confirming. Seat reductions are managed from the billing portal and take effect at renewal.

Do team members keep their training records if they leave?

Yes — on both sides. Certificates and completion records belong to the individual learner and stay on their personal FreeGCP account. Your organization keeps its own record too: you can generate a departed member's per-member audit PDF at any time (they remain selectable in Exports, marked as removed), and your org audit log retains the history of training you assigned them. Removing a member also frees their seat immediately — invite their replacement without buying another seat.

Does this work for academic and NIH-funded research teams?

NIH policy (NOT-OD-16-148) expects investigators and clinical trial staff on NIH-funded clinical trials to be trained in Good Clinical Practice consistent with ICH E6, refreshed at least every three years — which is exactly what FreeGCP teaches, with the records to prove it.
